Frame cleaned and rear fitted

After getting most of the frame stripped down of components, I took it outside and pressure washed & degreased it. Took off a lot of grime from 50 years on the road. I will POR-15 the entire frame once I finish the modifications, but for right now I’m just doing the rear since I need to test fit the R160.

I got some new red poly bushings, and the rear went in with only the normal amount of swearing at the rear bushings. The input shaft sits much lower than the stock unit, so I will have a driveshaft angle, but the install kit looks really nice. I got this from Steve in Australia. It’s not cheap, but I’d definitely recommend it if you want an easy and professional looking solution.
